Skullcandy Founder Lists Park City Snowboarding Estate for $18.9 Million

Nestled in the heart of Park City, Utah, with direct access to the regions’ finest slopes, Skullcandy founder Rick Alden is selling his ski-in/ski-out home for $18.9 million with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Alden has owned the 33,000-square-foot home on over five-acres for nearly a decade.

A true winter sports estate, Alden is including with the sale of the home a group of over 300 snowboards from his enormous collection – some of which are signed by Olympic athletes and pros.

Alden’s ties to the sport of snowboarding go past his love for the slopes; Skullcandy, the company he founded in 2003, produces audio products geared towards action and extreme sports athletes and enthusiasts.

The 14-bedroom home features a 20-locker ski room with boot driers and accompanying gear racks, 22 bathrooms, a spa, gym, and 18-car garage among many other amenities.
