Known as “Sukha House,” this contemporary home is nestled within a residential community, close to University for Peace, features more than 2,350 hectares of forest, surrounded by a river of spring water, small waterfalls, and mountains.

This residence offers impressive views of the Central Valley, but still close to all urban conveniences: 10 minutes from Ciudad Colón, 25 minutes from Escazu and 35 minutes from La Sabana. The area is known for its natural beauty as well as mountain biking and hiking.

Since the home is surrounded by native trees, it enjoys the cool breeze coming from the forest and the filtering of the sun through its canopy. The integrated interior spaces and the half levels are connected through a staircase suspended above an internal garden. Its two fronts consisting of floor to ceiling glass rotating doors serve as connectors between the interior and the exterior giving the sensation that the forest is part of the house and allowing air circulation and the enjoyment of cool breezes throughout the day.
